Collaboration

Working with another artist combines a unique combination of talents. Great ideas are spawned, creativity enhanced, and beautiful things happen. Here, you see creations of wood and glass.
Working with wood turner, John Barany, Sharon has found a great partner. Each of them has ideas and talents that bring a new perspective to their work.

Enjoy!

The Black Madonna

"She’s full of herself but not yet full,
needs to fool no one, but nobody’s fool.
Takes no sass, she’s sharp as a tack,
if you’re not liked, you won’t be back.
She’s full of ‘tude but not at all rude,
snappy and quick, doesn’t miss a trick.
She brings a presence that can’t be denied,
ready to give, chock full of pride,
On her way to a better day.
You better believe it
or it’s your hell to pay."

"Her face, neck, beads around her neck are all glass. Her hair is beads made in Africa from pieces of paper or magazines. I strung all of them and of course collaborated with John B as to her final hairdo." - Sharon
